Currently, all fees for residents are being waived this year due to COVID-19 (normally $60-$80). Please visit: to see available plots and rules/regulations/policies. Here you can register for the garden bed of your choosing, and also view additional information about community gardening.

One of our community assets is The Trails Community Garden. It is available to all residents of the area, but was very little used this past year because of lack of communication from the management company that administers it. We will discuss some ideas to help the garden be a more effective asset to the neighborhood. Please come, invite a neighbor, and let’s get acquainted! If you can’t come, please give us a call or email me at, and we’ll get you into the loop.

When residents purchased homes here in The Trails at Forest Meadows, the Community Garden was touted as a great neighborhood asset. While it got off to a pretty good start in 2018, Spring of 2019 saw a dramatic drop off in the number of people participating. Part of that was due to lack of information going out from the management company, and no information is provided at the garden site itself.

You can also visit the Woodmen Heights Metro District office to pick up a FREE packet of seeds! Each bed is marked out with string and stakes, and you may choose how to use your bed. Water, hoses and sprayers are provided for you!
