Students officially started school in the new building after a two week fall break. The new building, located off of Cowpoke Road in Forest Meadows, is a state-of-the-art 65,000 sq ft facility.
Grand Peak Academy, formally a Classical Imagine school, has made some changes this year. They have broken ties with Imagine Schools and created a new charter school with many of the same classical principles.
The new building features a full size gym, soccer field, separate cafeteria (the gym doubled as a cafeteria in the old building) and classrooms for each special (German, Music, Art, Technology, Gym).
The enlarged area provides ample parking, more efficient carpool lanes, larger classrooms, and new playground equipment. Being situated in a neighborhood instead of a busy street also has its perks for those students that walk to school.

Oh, and did we mention that Grand Peak will be saving approximately $600k a year by no longer being tied to Imagine Schools?
